Your Booking Page

Your booking page is a free, public microsite for your business on petboost.com.au, where pet owners browse your services, prices, hours and policies and book online. You edit it on Your Booking Page and in the visual editor.

Updated 27 September 2026 - 17 min read

Pet owners can browse your services, see pricing, read your hours and policies, and book online, all from one branded page. Your booking page has two addresses:

  • Short (copy and share this): https://pbbook.now/{your-business-name}
  • Canonical (what the short link opens): https://petboost.com.au/{your-business-name}-{id}/

pbbook.now is a Petboost domain. The short link redirects to your public booking page. Copy it from Quick Copy Links.

What your booking page shows

It includes:

  • A branded hero with your logo, colours, optional video, and Google rating when you have set a Google review link
  • A Google reviews section from that same review link, with the rating and any sample reviews Google returns
  • Your About text, announcement banner, hours, amenities, and badges
  • A Before you book card built from your vaccination, cancellation, card, mobile, and weight settings
  • An on-page price list from your live catalogue, plus a downloadable PDF
  • Photo gallery and team cards, including any badges assigned to a team member
  • Your full service catalogue with images, descriptions, and pricing
  • A Quick Estimate tool (pet owners filter by weight to see relevant services). You can hide this under Services on Settings > Your Booking Page
  • A Most booked carousel of services with the highest booking counts. You can hide this under Services on Settings > Your Booking Page
  • Service area maps (for mobile services)
  • Group class enrolment (if you offer courses)
  • Your contact details, social links, and policies
  • A generated FAQ section you can hide, rename, or add to
  • A sticky booking bar for instant conversion

Search engines index the page, so pet owners searching "dog grooming near me" or "pet daycare [your suburb]" can find your business through Google.

When your page goes live

Your booking page is public while your account is on a Pro, Flex, Max or Enterprise plan, including while a payment is overdue or the subscription is paused. Calendar Lite does not include a booking page, and neither does the 14-day free trial, which runs on Calendar Lite. The page comes down when the subscription is cancelled.

With Online booking off in Settings > Booking Settings, the page stays up with a contact banner and without services, packages, memberships or courses. Your business is listed in the Petboost directory at petboost.com.au/browse only while Online booking is on.

There is no green-tick checklist on Settings > Your Booking Page. That tab is the editor for what visitors see. The page still looks thin until you fill in the content below. Branding, services, hours, and policies all help, but they are not a separate "eligibility" score on this tab.

Set up your booking page

Complete your business details

  1. Open Business Details.
  2. On Details, fill in Business Name (displayed prominently on your page), Billing Address (your location on the page and in search results), Business Phone (displayed with click-to-call) and Business Email (displayed with a mailto link). Your ABN shows too, for business legitimacy.
  3. On About, set your About text (a short blurb or a longer About section), Badges, an Announcement (an optional banner with an expiry) and Amenities.
  4. Select Publish Changes, tick the box in Before You Publish, then select Publish Changes.

A badge is a short chip with an icon, up to 40 of them. To put the chip on the page, leave Show on listing selected. To put it on team cards only, select Show on team cards and tick the people. A badge is listing or team, not both.

If About is empty, the visual editor offers a suggested draft built from your suburb, hours and policies: select Use this draft to accept it. The draft is not published until you accept it.

Opening hours, public holidays and special hours live on Settings > Business Details > Hours. Weekday and holiday pricing notes show on the hours card when you set them.

Add your branding

  1. Open Branding.
  2. Under Logo Suite, upload a Square Logo, used in the hero section and the sticky booking bar, and a Horizontal Logo, used where space allows. SVG or PNG is recommended.
  3. Upload a Hero Image, the main visual on your booking page, such as a high-quality photo of your space, your team, or a pet you have looked after.
  4. Under Colour Scheme, set Primary Colour (accents throughout your page), Primary Button Colour (booking buttons) and Secondary Colour (secondary elements).
  5. Optional: under Typography, choose a font, or enter a Font Family Name and Font URL to match your brand.
  6. Optional: under Social Media & Marketing, add your Website URL, Facebook URL, Instagram URL, Google Review URL and a Video on your booking page.
  7. Under Photo Gallery, add up to 20 photos. Upload them, or select Choose from appointment photos and pick business-note photos from the last 90 days, ticking the permission checkbox before you add them.
  8. Select Publish Changes, tick the box in Before You Publish, then select Publish Changes.

The Google Review URL shows a Google rating on the hero when Google Places can resolve it, and always links to Google. The video is a YouTube, Vimeo or Instagram video that auto-plays in your hero section, useful for showing your facilities.

Turn on online booking

  1. Open Booking Settings.
  2. Switch on Online booking.
  3. Select Publish Changes, tick the box in Before You Publish, then select Publish Changes.

If you are new to this, see the Self-Service Readiness Checklist.

Prepare your services

Each service on your booking page displays its name and short description, its service image, its pricing (including "from" pricing for variable-price services), its duration, its category (used for filtering) and badges for vaccination required, mobile service, initial visit, packages available and multi-pet discount.

To get the most from your booking page:

  • Add a clear, descriptive short description for each service
  • Upload a service image. Services with images look more professional, and before-and-after photos work for grooming
  • Set weight eligibility (minimum and maximum kg) so the Quick Estimate filter works properly
  • Configure multi-pet discount rates if they apply
  • Mark services as mobile if you travel to the pet owner

Connect Stripe

Card payments on your booking page go through Stripe. If Stripe is not connected, see Connect Stripe: Petboost shows Activate Stripe until it is, and Connect Stripe on the Petboost Payments card on Settings > Pricing & Payments starts the same hand-off.

Add your policies

  1. Open Policies & Paperwork.
  2. Under Client agreements, upload your Terms & Conditions Document and Waiver Document as PDFs. Both are displayed on your booking page.
  3. Set your cancellation policy: the notice period and the fee percentage, which your page displays prominently.
  4. Set your vaccination requirements, which show as badges on the relevant services.
  5. Select Publish Changes, tick the box in Before You Publish, then select Publish Changes.

Hide, rename, and reorder sections

Hide a section you do not want, change its wording, or move it up or down the page.

  1. Open Your Booking Page.
  2. Under Showcase sections, drag a section by its handle to reorder it, or turn its Show switch off to hide it.
  3. To rename a section or rewrite its text, switch on Advanced options and use Section wording.
  4. Select Publish Changes, tick the box in Before You Publish, then select Publish Changes.

Preview, at the top of the tab, shows your live page a little while after you publish. Your page title and description, custom blocks (rich text, FAQ, gallery, Instagram, or a button) and the questions and answers also sit under Advanced options.

Hiding a section removes it from the page for visitors and for search engines, so that heading, its text, and its links stop being indexed. Your business name, address, opening hours, and services stay in the page's structured data either way, so hiding a block never hides your business itself.

The main photo gallery is edited on Settings > Branding, or from the Gallery section on Settings > Your Booking Page. A custom gallery block on this tab is extra photos for that one section.

Before you book is a derived card. It reads vaccination, cancellation notice, card, mobile, instant confirmation, and weight range from settings you already use to take a booking. You can hide or rename it. You do not tick amenities for it.

Google reviews is also derived. It uses the Google review link on Settings > Branding. The hero chip and the reviews section share that lookup. You can hide or rename the section. You do not paste a Place ID.

Edit your page in the visual editor

The visual editor shows every change on the page itself before you publish. It works best on a computer: on a phone it opens the same settings as fields on Your Booking Page.

  1. Open Your Booking Page and select Open the editor.
  2. In the section list, select a section to edit it, drag it to reorder, or switch it off to hide it.
  3. Switch between Edit and Preview to check the page.
  4. Select Publish, which shows how many changes are waiting.

A section that cannot be hidden says Always shown. Discard drops your unpublished changes.

Add a custom section

You can add up to 6 extra blocks. Markdown only. No HTML embeds.

  1. Open Your Booking Page.
  2. Switch on Advanced options. Under Custom sections, select Add Rich text, Add FAQ, Add Instagram, Add Gallery, or Add Call to action.
  3. Enter Heading. Optional: enter Subheading on Rich text, Instagram, and Call to action.
  4. Fill in the fields for that block: Markdown for Rich text; Question and Answer for FAQ, selecting Add question for another pair; Pinned Instagram post URLs for Instagram, selecting Add URL for each extra permalink (up to 6); Photos for Gallery (up to the limit shown); Button label and Button URL for Call to action.
  5. Optional: select Remove this section to delete the block.
  6. Select Publish Changes, tick the box in Before You Publish, then select Publish Changes.

Edit questions and answers

The generated questions at the bottom of your booking page are edited here, not on a separate FAQ settings page.

  1. Open Your Booking Page.
  2. Switch on Advanced options, then find Questions and answers.
  3. Select Add a question if you want your own question above the generated ones.
  4. Select a question to expand it.
  5. Edit Question and Answer. Leave a field blank to keep the wording Petboost generated.
  6. Turn Show off to hide a question from the page.
  7. Optional: select Remove this question on a question you added yourself.
  8. Select Publish Changes, tick the box in Before You Publish, then select Publish Changes.

Owner-added rows show Your question. Generated rows show Generated. A blank owner row shows New question.

Visible items with both a question and an answer go into search results.

Pin Instagram posts

  1. Open Your Booking Page.
  2. Switch on Advanced options. Under Custom sections, select Add Instagram.
  3. Enter Heading. Optional: enter Subheading.
  4. Paste each permalink under Pinned Instagram post URLs.
  5. Select Add URL for each extra post (up to 6).
  6. Select Publish Changes, tick the box in Before You Publish, then select Publish Changes.

Hide Quick Estimate or Most booked

Quick Estimate is the weight range buttons above your services. Most booked is the carousel of your most-booked services above the category tabs. The Services section stays on the page.

  1. Open Your Booking Page.
  2. Find Quick Estimate or Most booked under Services.
  3. Turn Show off.
  4. Select Publish Changes, tick the box in Before You Publish, then select Publish Changes.

The same switches sit under Services in the visual editor.

Change your page title and description

The page title shows on the browser tab, in bookmarks and as the link in Google search results. The page description is the line Google shows under that link. Both also show when someone shares your link.

  1. Open Your Booking Page.
  2. Switch on Advanced options, then find Page title and description.
  3. Enter Page title, for example just your business name (up to 60 characters).
  4. Optional: enter Page description (up to 160 characters).
  5. Check Search result preview. It shows the result as Google usually lays it out on a computer, and a blank field shows the wording Petboost writes.
  6. Select Publish Changes, tick the box in Before You Publish, then select Publish Changes.

To go back to the title or description Petboost writes, clear the field. A title or description that contains a phone number or profanity is not used, and Petboost's shows instead.

When Page title is blank, Petboost builds the title from your main global category, your suburb and your business name, for example Pet Grooming Springvale | Your Business. Categories you created yourself are not used in the title, because their names describe your menu rather than what pet owners search for. If none of your services sit in a global category, Petboost uses the categories you chose when you signed up, and if there are none it leads with your business name.

Set category order

Category tabs on your booking page follow the in-use list on Settings > Service Categories. The first global category in that list is also the one the page title and link preview lead with, unless you set your own Page title.

  1. Open Service Categories.
  2. Drag the in-use categories into the order you want.
  3. Check the first global category is the one you want search results and shared links to lead with.

If you have not set an order, Petboost leads with the category that has the most bookings.

Reorder services, packages or plans

  1. Open Services, Packages, or Memberships > Plans.
  2. Open the settings menu and select Reorder.
  3. Drag the list, then select Done.

Each section on the editor's Sections list also carries a Set the order of your services / packages / plans link that opens the right page in a new tab.

Customising your booking page

Hero video

A hero video plays at the top of your booking page. Paste one of these into Video on your booking page on Settings > Branding:

  • A YouTube video URL (e.g., https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=...)
  • A Vimeo video URL (e.g., https://vimeo.com/...)
  • An Instagram video URL

The video auto-plays (muted) when pet owners visit your page. Keep it short (30-60 seconds) and show your space, your team with pets, or a before-and-after result.

Brand colours

Your brand colours apply throughout your booking page: the Primary Colour in accents and highlights, the Primary Button Colour on every booking button, and the Secondary Colour in supporting elements. Choose colours that match your existing branding, such as your business cards, signage and social media.

Service images

Service images appear on each service card on your booking page. Use clear, well-lit photos, show the pet receiving the service rather than just your equipment, keep a consistent style across all your service images, and use at least 400x300px. Before-and-after photos work for grooming services.

How pet owners find your page

Your booking page is discoverable through:

  • Google search: the page is set up for local searches such as "dog grooming [suburb]" and "pet daycare near me"
  • Petboost browse directory: pet owners can filter businesses by name or suburb at petboost.com.au/browse/ while Online booking is on
  • Direct links: share your booking page URL on social media, in emails, or on business cards
  • Google Business Profile: add your booking page URL as the appointment link. Leave the website field as your own website, or point it at your booking page if you do not have one
  • QR codes: generate a QR code for your booking page URL for printed materials

Share your booking page

  1. Open All Settings.
  2. Open Quick Copy Links.
  3. Select Booking Page Link.

You can also open the account menu (your business name or logo at the top of the sidebar) and select Showcase Page Link under Quick Copy Links. Both copy https://pbbook.now/{your-business-name}, which redirects to https://petboost.com.au/{your-business-name}-{id}/.

Tips for a strong page

  • Photos: a few high-quality photos of your space and team, real pets rather than stock photos, and natural light. Before-and-after grooming shots show the result
  • Service descriptions: keep them concise but informative, say what is included (for example "Includes bath, blow-dry, nail trim, and ear clean"), say what makes the service different, and use the short description field, which shows on the service card
  • Pricing: show accurate prices up front, even "from" prices, set weight eligibility so the Quick Estimate filter works, and show multi-pet discounts if they apply
  • Keeping it current: your booking page updates automatically when you change your services, pricing or settings. Update service images seasonally, review service descriptions quarterly, keep your cancellation policy current, and refresh your hero video from time to time

Troubleshooting

My booking page is not showing

Check that the account is on a Pro, Flex, Max or Enterprise plan. The Your Booking Page tab does not show a green-tick list. If the page opens but shows no services, check that Online booking is on in Settings > Booking Settings and on each service's Booking Settings tab.

My video is not playing

Check that you pasted a valid YouTube, Vimeo, or Instagram video URL. The video must be publicly accessible (not private, or unlisted on some platforms).

My browser tab or Google result shows the wrong title

The title leads with your main global category and suburb unless you set your own. To show just your business name, set Page title as described in Change your page title and description.

How do I edit the questions at the bottom of my booking page?

Open Settings > Your Booking Page, switch on Advanced options and scroll to Questions and answers. Select a question, edit Question and Answer, and use Show to hide one. Select Add a question to add your own. This is the only place those questions are edited.

My services look different than expected

Check that each service has a short description (displayed on the card), a service image (services without images show a placeholder), correct weight eligibility ranges (which affect Quick Estimate filtering), and the correct category (which affects category filtering).
