Enterprise Multi-Location

Enterprise Multi-Location runs several locations from one Petboost login. Each location keeps its own calendar, team, services and customers, while Enterprise HQ holds the organisation's billing and subscription.

Each location operates independently, as a separate business account linked to your organisation. Billing and subscription management is centralised through Enterprise HQ.

Enterprise Multi-Location is available on the Enterprise plan. Enterprise HQ appears in the sidebar for owners and admins once you have access to more than one location. Non-admin team members do not see it.

Enterprise HQ

Enterprise HQ is your central dashboard for all the locations in your organisation. Open it from Enterprise HQ in the sidebar. It shows:

  • Locations: each location as a card with its name, address, time zone, phone number, and your role at that location as a badge. A vertical bar on the left of a card marks the location you are viewing
  • The Add Location card, with how many locations you have used out of your allowance, such as 2 of 3 used
  • Organisation Billing, on Enterprise plan accounts: the billing hero card with your current plan and subscription status, quick stats on card payment volume, appointments and SMS credits, a billing timeline of upcoming billing events, and how your business benefits from the platform
  • The tabs Plan & Usage, Power-Ups, Payment and Billing History, plus Access Control once you have more than one location

On the Enterprise plan, appointment usage and admin time saved count across every location in your organisation. SMS credits and card payment volume use the same organisation total. You can open the Stripe Customer Portal from Enterprise HQ to manage your payment method or view invoices.

The plan, the power-ups, the card and the invoices belong to the organisation. There is no organisation calendar and no organisation client list: those belong to each location.

Switch between locations

Switch location to work on another site's calendar, customers, team and takings.

  1. Select your business name at the top of the sidebar.
  2. Under Locations, choose the location you want.

The row reads Switching... while Petboost reloads. The Locations list only appears when your account has more than one location.

You can also switch from Enterprise HQ, where selecting a location's card switches to it and selecting the active location's card opens its Mission Control, or from the command palette, where typing a location name lists your locations as results.

Switching is not a filter. It sets the new location as your active business and reloads the same section of the app for that site: from the calendar you land on that site's calendar, and from Enterprise HQ on its Enterprise HQ. All the data you see (calendar, customers, team, invoices) is then for the newly selected location.

Check

A booking you cannot find is usually on another location. Switch, then search again.

Add a location

If your plan allows more locations, add one from Enterprise HQ or from Locations. Locations has no sidebar entry: open it from its link.

  1. Open Locations.
  2. Select Add Location. With no locations yet, the button is Add First Location.
  3. Enter the Location Name (for example "Sydney CBD" or "North Shore"), the Phone and Email for this location, its Address (with autocomplete) and its Timezone.
  4. Select Add Location.

The new location is created as a separate business account linked to your organisation. Switch to it to set up its services, team members and settings independently. On Enterprise HQ, the Add Location card (a dashed border with a plus icon) opens the same form.

Locations shows how many locations you have out of your maximum. The pencil on a row, Edit location, changes the same fields, saved with Save Changes. Remove location removes a location and revokes access for every team member assigned to it, and it cannot be undone. The Primary location has no remove control.

The time zone matters: a location in another state runs its own day, so its calendar, reminders and cut-offs follow its own time zone.

Clone brand assets to another location

Copy one location's branding to others instead of setting it up again.

  1. Open Locations.
  2. On the source location, select Copy brand to other locations. On Enterprise HQ, it is the copy icon on the location's card.
  3. In Clone Brand Assets, under What to clone, select Logos, Colours, Typography, Hero Image and Social & Marketing as needed.
  4. Select the target locations.
  5. Select the Clone to button, which names the number of locations.

This overwrites the selected assets on the target locations.

Team member access across locations

Team members can have access to several locations, with a different role at each. Your role at each location shows on its card as a badge:

RoleBadgeAccess level
Owner AdminOwner AdminFull access including billing
AdminAdminFull operational access
Service PerformerTeam MemberService performer access
Service SupporterSupportLimited support access

When a team member switches locations, they see data and have permissions according to their role at that location.

Give a team member access to another location

  1. Open Enterprise HQ and choose Access Control.
  2. Under Team Access by Location, find the team member.
  3. Tick a location to give them access, or untick it to remove their access.

Each team member has a checkbox for every location, with their role at that location as a badge. A team member's last location cannot be removed. Access Control appears once your organisation has more than one location.

Location limits

Your subscription sets how many locations you can have, through the max_locations value on your Stripe subscription. Enterprise HQ and Locations show how many you have used out of your allowance. If you need more locations, contact Petboost support to adjust your plan.
