Booking Links & Deep Linking

Booking links let customers book from your website, social media, emails and printed materials. Share your short booking page link, the direct booking form link, or a deep link to one service or package.

Updated 27 September 2026 - 11 min read

Use the short booking page link for sharing, the general booking form link when customers should skip straight to booking, or a deep link for a specific service or package. Quick Copy Links, where most of these links live, needs Business Pro, Business Flex, Business Max or Enterprise.

https://pbbook.now/{your-business-name} is a valid Petboost booking page link. It redirects to your public booking page at https://petboost.com.au/{your-business-name}-{id}/. Use it on flyers, QR codes, Instagram bios and Google Business Profile. If you rename the business later, a printed pbbook.now link still opens your page.

  1. Open All Settings.
  2. Open Quick Copy Links.
  3. Select Booking Page Link.

You can also open the account menu, your business name or logo at the top of the sidebar, and select Showcase Page Link under Quick Copy Links. Both copy the same pbbook.now address.

pbbook.now is a Petboost domain. A link such as https://pbbook.now/pawfect-grooming is official, not a custom or unofficial shortener.

The general link opens the booking form, where customers see the services they can book. It shows every service with online booking on, filters them by whether the customer is new or returning, and checks each pet's eligibility, so customers only see services relevant to them. It suits website Book now buttons, returning customers who already know you, email signatures and direct referrals.

https://app.petboost.com/booking-form?businessAccountId=YOUR_BUSINESS_ID

To copy it, open All Settings, open Quick Copy Links and select Direct Booking Link. The account menu has the same Direct Booking Link under Quick Copy Links.

A service link skips the service selection step, so the customer lands on that service, and Petboost still checks eligibility before it shows availability. It suits promoting one service on social media, email promotions for a particular service (sent from your own email client), QR codes at your location, such as "Book Grooming Here", and website pages for one service.

The booking form link for one service adds its service ID:

https://app.petboost.com/booking-form?businessAccountId=YOUR_BUSINESS_ID&serviceId=SERVICE_ID

Each service also has a link that opens it on your booking page:

  1. Open Services, select Manage on the service, then Manage Service.
  2. In the service's summary card, copy Quick-copy Booking Link.
  3. Optional: select Preview to open the link.

The link has the form https://petboost.com.au/{your-business-name}-{id}/?serviceId=SERVICE_ID.

For more than one service, or for add-ons, the Link Prefill Builder builds the link for you instead of you assembling the query string by hand.

  1. Open Services, open the settings menu (the gear) at the top of the page, and select Link Prefill Builder.
  2. Under Services & add-ons, choose the services and add-ons you want selected.
  3. Copy the link under Prefill booking link.

The builder handles several services and add-ons in one link. Add-ons can be prefilled on their own, although Add-ons only warns that clients usually still need a main service to finish a booking. When a service you picked has special requirements, Some clients may not see every service warns you: ineligible services are dropped when a client opens the link. Customers still choose their pet when they open it.

A package link opens the purchase of one package, such as prepaid credits or a bundle. The customer can buy it straight away, pays with their saved card or at checkout, and the credits go on their account. It suits promoting package deals, loyalty programme marketing, upselling existing customers to prepaid packages, and email promotions featuring savings (sent from your own email client).

  1. Open Packages and select Manage on the package.
  2. Under Share Purchase Link, copy the link.
  3. Optional: select Preview Link to open it.

If the package is staff only, the card shows Package Not Published instead. Select Enable Self-Service & Publish to put it on sale online first.

Add booking buttons to your website

The website buttons are a Book now and Existing Clients pair. Book now opens your showcase page. Existing Clients opens the booking form.

  1. Open All Settings.
  2. Open Quick Copy Links and select Website Buttons.
  3. Choose a Button colour.
  4. Drag Corners left for squarer buttons, or right for more rounded.
  5. Optional: under Font used on your website, type your website's font. If you leave it blank, the buttons use Arial.
  6. Select Copy HTML.
  7. Paste the HTML into a code or embed block on your website.

The same builder is on Launching under Update Your Links, and on Setup under Tools for Going Live. The copied code is HTML, CSS and SVG only. It does not load files from Petboost.

On a website page for one service, use a deep link from that service:

<a
  href="https://app.petboost.com/booking-form?businessAccountId=YOUR_ID&serviceId=GROOMING_ID"
>
  Book Grooming
</a>

Embed booking on your website

Do not put the booking form itself in an iframe: login cannot finish inside someone else's page. Use the official widget instead. Customers pick a service and a day on your site, and the booking form then opens in a new tab so they can confirm who they are.

  1. Open All Settings.
  2. Open Quick Copy Links and select Website Embed.
  3. Under Website Builder, choose your website builder, then follow its Instructions.
  4. On Your Embed Code, select Copy Embed Code.
  5. Paste the code into a code or embed block on your website.

The same setup is on Setup under Tools for Going Live.

Social media

In an Instagram or Facebook bio, use your general booking link, or a service link for a promotion. For example:

Dog grooming and daycare in Sydney
Bondi Beach
Book online: [your booking link]

When a post promotes one service, link that service, for example: "Spring Groom Special! Book your pup's spring refresh: [service link]".

Email signatures

Add the booking link to your signature:

Sarah Mitchell
Owner, Pawfect Grooming

[your phone number]
[your email address]
Book online: https://app.petboost.com/booking-form?businessAccountId=YOUR_ID

Google Business Profile

Google treats the appointment link and the website field as separate fields. The booking page URL goes in the appointment link, which is what turns on the booking action on your listing.

  1. Copy your Booking Page Link from Quick Copy Links on All Settings.
  2. Open your Google Business Profile, then its profile editor.
  3. Paste the link into the appointment link field.
  4. Leave the website field as your own website, or point it at your booking page if you do not have one.

QR codes

  1. Copy your booking link from Quick Copy Links on All Settings.
  2. Paste it into a free QR code generator, such as qr-code-generator.com.
  3. Download and print the QR code.

Use QR codes on business cards, flyers and posters, window signage, receipts ("Book your next appointment") and vehicle wraps for mobile services.

Petboost generates ready-to-print QR booking cards with your business logo, colours and business name, and a QR code linking to your booking page, so clients can scan to book.

  1. Open Branding.
  2. Under Print Materials, select QR Booking Card.
  3. Under Card style, choose Dark or Light.
  4. Select Home Printer for an A4 page with the card centred and a dotted cut guide, or Professional Print for a print-ready file with 3mm bleed and crop marks. The PDF downloads.
  5. Print the home version on thick card stock (250gsm or more) and cut along the dotted line, or send the professional file to a printer for a window decal, vinyl sticker or card stock.

Use the cards at the front desk or reception counter, in the waiting area, on your front window or door, handed to new clients after their first visit, in welcome packs or gift bags, or pinned to a community notice board. Create a Flyer, in the same card, makes a branded flyer with a QR code to your booking page.

How the booking form filters services

When customers use your booking links, the booking form shows each customer the services that fit them.

A new customer enters their phone number, which Petboost does not recognise, and sees the services suited to new customers: initial consultations, introductory services and services without prerequisites.

A returning customer enters their phone number, Petboost recognises it and loads their profile and pets, and shows the services they are eligible for: regular services rather than initial services they have completed, services matching their pets' eligibility, and their logical next step.

For example, a new customer on your general booking link sees Puppy School Foundations and Initial Grooming Consultation. Advanced Training is hidden, because it requires a prerequisite.

A returning customer who completed Puppy School sees Level 2 Training and Group Walks. Puppy School Foundations is hidden, because they have already completed it.

Track where bookings come from

To see which campaign brought a booking in, add via= and a campaign name to the link:

https://app.petboost.com/booking-form?businessAccountId=YOUR_ID&via=spring_promo
  1. Open Reporting & Intelligence on the Marketing tab.
  2. Under Campaign URL Builder, enter a campaign name in Your Magic Identifier.
  3. Under Apply To, choose Booking URL, Booking Page or QR Code / A5 Flyer.
  4. Select Copy beside Your Campaign URL, and save the link where you will find it again.

When a customer completes a booking through the link, the campaign name is saved on the booking as Referred via. Clicks that do not become a booking are not counted.

Without a campaign link, an online booking still records UTM tags (utm_source, utm_campaign), a Google Ads, Microsoft Ads or TikTok Ads click, or the site the customer came from. Petboost does not read a ref parameter.

View campaign results

  1. Open Reporting & Intelligence on the Appointments tab.
  2. Under Appointments Deep Dive, select Deep Dive.
  3. Check Campaign Source Breakdown for bookings and revenue by campaign, or use the Campaign Source filter to list one campaign's bookings.

To see every source, including those recorded without a campaign link, open the Marketing tab and select Generate Marketing Ideas. See Where clients come from.

  • Use the same link format across all your marketing, test each link before you publish it, and update links when you change services or packages
  • Match the link to the campaign: the service link for a service promotion, the package purchase link for a package launch, and the main booking link for general awareness
  • Put your booking link in every email signature and in the messages you send customers, and display it prominently on your website
  • Every Petboost booking link is mobile-responsive, so customers can book from any device. Test on a phone before you promote a link widely

Common questions
