Grazi AI sits in a panel on every screen. It reads your business data to answer you, and it never changes anything in your account. Your conversations are saved so you can pick up where you left off, and Speak with the team hands a question to a person without leaving the panel. Grazi AI is on every plan, including Calendar Lite.
Open Grazi AI
- Select Get Help at the top of the screen, or the Grazi AI tab at the right edge of the page. On a phone, tap Grazi's picture at the top of the screen.
- Type your question and send it, or tap one of the suggested questions.
The keyboard shortcut Cmd+/ on a Mac, or Ctrl+/ on Windows, opens and closes the panel. The suggested questions depend on the page you are on: on the calendar they are about today's appointments, and on reporting they are about revenue.
Grazi AI also opens from other places:
- Quick Command Centre: press Cmd+K or Ctrl+K and type a question. When it reads as a question, select Ask Grazi AI to open the panel with it already typed. See Quick Command Centre
- Generate with AI: on descriptions such as a service's or a course's, Generate with AI, or Improve with AI when there is already text, opens Grazi AI with a prompt written for the field. Select Insert under the answer to put it into the field
- Focus Mode: select the expand button in the panel header to open the same conversation full screen. Select the minimise button to return to the panel
Draft a reply to a customer
On Messages, Grazi AI can draft a reply from the recent conversation.
- Open Messages and select the conversation.
- Select Draft with Grazi, beside the message box.
- Read the draft in the Grazi AI panel.
- While the conversation is still open, select Insert to put the draft in the message box, then edit it and send it.
Grazi AI reads up to the last 10 messages you and the customer have written, and leaves automated messages out. It only drafts when you select the button, and it never sends anything.
What Grazi AI can help with
Grazi AI answers questions about your own business data:
- "How many appointments did I have last week?"
- "Which services are most popular this month?"
- "How many new customers signed up in February?"
- "What is my average appointment value?"
- "Show me my busiest day of the week"
- "Which team member has the most appointments this week?"
- "How does this month compare to last month?"
It drafts messages for you to review and send yourself:
- "Draft an SMS to remind Sarah about vaccinations"
- "Write a message to let customers know we're closed for Easter"
- "Help me write a follow-up message for no-show appointments"
It explains how to do something in Petboost and can take you to the screen:
- "How do I set up recurring appointments?"
- "How do I add a new service?"
- "How do I configure automatic reminders?"
- "How do I export my customer data?"
Speak with the team
Speak with the team starts a conversation with the Petboost support team. It sits under the suggestions when you open the panel, below the message box once a conversation has started, and on a reply after you select thumbs down.
- In the Grazi AI panel, select Speak with the team.
- Under How urgent?, choose how urgent it is.
- Under What are you trying to do?, say what you need.
- Optional: under What's happening instead?, add any detail.
- Select Send to the team.
The page you were on goes with the message, and you can remove it before you send. Your Grazi AI conversation is attached so the team can see what you have already tried. The team replies in the panel and by email, usually between 8:00am and 6:00pm AEST, and the confirmation says someone will get back to you within 48 hours. You can add screenshots in the chat window that opens next.
Back, or Ask Grazi Instead, returns you to Grazi AI. If the message does not send, try again or email support@petboost.com.au.
Find a past conversation
Grazi AI keeps your conversations, and your conversations with the Petboost team sit beside them.
- In the Grazi AI panel header, select the chat history icon.
- Choose Grazi for your conversations with Grazi AI, or Petboost team for your conversations with the team.
- Select a conversation to open it.
Grazi conversations are grouped under Today, Yesterday, Previous 7 days and Older, and each shows its title, how many messages it has and when the last one was sent. Type in Search threads... to find one. The history shows up to 50 conversations.
New Chat starts a new conversation, and it archives the one you had open. To remove a conversation from the list yourself, hover over it and select Archive. Archived conversations no longer show in the history, and stay stored by Petboost.
If you had a conversation open in the last 30 minutes, reopening the panel shows a Resume banner. Select Resume to carry on, or close the banner to start fresh.
On the Petboost team side, Start a new chat with the team opens the form above, because Grazi AI takes the details first so the team has the full picture.
Rate an answer
Select thumbs up under an answer that helped, or thumbs down under one that did not. Thumbs down opens a box, What's missing or wrong?, for an optional note. To have a person look at it as well, select Speak with the team on that reply, and the form opens with your note already filled in.
Before you rely on it
Grazi AI is an experimental feature:
- It is read-only. It looks up data but cannot change your account, appointments or settings, so you take any action yourself
- AI can make mistakes. The panel always shows Grazi AI can make mistakes. Always double-check important information. Check financial figures and compliance questions against your reports
- It does not give professional advice, financial, legal, veterinary or tax
- It works with your current business data in Petboost. It cannot see external systems or data that has been archived
- A typical question takes around 13 seconds, and a complex one that needs several lookups can take closer to a minute
- You can send up to 20 messages a minute
Full detail is in the Grazi AI Terms of Use.
Privacy
- Your questions are processed securely, and your business data is not shared with third parties
- Your Grazi AI conversations are private to your business account
- Your business data is not used to train AI models
Tips for better answers
- Be specific: "How many grooming appointments were there last week?" works better than "Tell me about grooming"
- Ask one question at a time. Grazi AI handles focused questions more accurately than multi-part ones
- Include the time period, service or team member your question is about
- If the first answer is not quite right, ask again with more detail
- Treat drafts as drafts, and review a message before it goes to a customer
- Try the suggested questions, which match the page you are on
