Quick Command Centre

The Quick Command Centre opens over whatever page you are on, so you can find something and go straight to it without clicking through menus. It works on every page of the business app you are signed in to.

Open the Quick Command Centre

Press Cmd+K on a Mac, or Ctrl+K on Windows or Linux, from any page. You can also select the search button, a magnifying glass, at the top of the page. Press Esc to close it.

Find a record or a page

1. Open the Quick Command Centre.
2. Type part of the name in Search pets, services, team, pages.... Partial matches work, so you do not need the full name.
3. To narrow the results, switch sources on or off in the toggle bar above the results.
4. Select a result, or move to it with the up and down arrow keys and press Enter.

The toggle bar has a switch for each source. These are on until you change them: Pages, Pets, Owners, Services, Team, Settings, Actions and Locations. These are off until you switch them on: Products, Resources, Appts, Packages, Memberships, Courses and Forms. Petboost remembers your choice in this browser. Switch sources off when a common name matches in several places, such as a pet and a team member with the same name.

Settings results

A setting result shows the path to it, so you know where it will take you. For example, searching for notifications finds Settings > Notifications, and searching for payments finds Settings > Pricing & Payments. This is quicker than the Settings menu for a setting that sits several levels deep.

What shows before you type

With nothing typed, the Quick Command Centre shows, when they apply:

• Recent: the last items you opened from the Quick Command Centre, up to 10
• For This Page: shortcuts to the tabs and sections of the page you are on
• Guides for this page: the Academy guides for the page you are on, each of which opens in a new tab
• Ask Grazi AI: up to four suggested questions for the page you are on, which open Grazi AI with the question filled in. They show only while you have no recent items

The suggested questions change with the page and, where a page has tabs, with the tab. For example, Appointments suggests "What's booked today?", Reporting & Intelligence suggests "Where does most of our revenue come from?", and Services suggests "Why isn't a service bookable online?". A page with no questions of its own shows a general set.

Ask Grazi AI a question

Grazi AI answers questions about your business and about how Petboost works.

1. Open the Quick Command Centre.
2. Type your question, such as "How many appointments do I have tomorrow?", "What is my most popular service?" or "How do I set up recurring appointments?".
3. When Ask Grazi AI appears, press Enter.

The Quick Command Centre recognises a question and offers Ask Grazi AI in place of the search results. When a search finds nothing, it offers Ask Grazi AI too. For more, see Grazi AI Assistant.
