Week View Tab

Updated 21 September 2026 - 3 min read

The Week View tab is one week at a time: what you have taken, what is still to come, which days carried the week, and what your team and your services did.

Deep link: https://business.petboost.com/reporting-and-intelligence?tab=week-view

This tab holds its own week, so the date range at the top of Reporting & Intelligence is hidden while you are on it.

Move between weeks

Use the arrows either side of the week range, or select This Week to come back. The range reads out in full, with a badge telling you which day of seven you are on.

To change which day your week starts on, open the view options control beside the range, then under Week Start select Change. That setting is your business week start, so it changes every week-based view in Petboost, not only this tab.

The same menu carries Include cancelled in expected revenue. Leave it off and expected revenue counts only bookings that are still going ahead.

Revenue

The Revenue card is the top of the week. A badge beside it compares the week against the one before.

The toggle switches the basis:

  • Collected is money actually taken, with what is still expected and outstanding beside it
  • Earned is the value of the work, whether or not the money has arrived

Under the figures, a bar shows how far through the week's money you are, with how many appointments are complete out of the total.

Use Collected to decide whether you can pay a bill this week. Use Earned to judge whether the week was a good week.

The days

A row of day cards runs across the week, each with its bookings and its takings. Select a day with appointments on it to open the drill-down and see that day in detail.

This is where an uneven week shows itself. Two heavy days and three quiet ones is a scheduling problem, not a demand problem.

Headline metrics

CardWhat it shows
AppointmentsCompleted out of total, with the percentage complete
CancelledCancellations, and how many were no-shows
DeclinedDeclined bookings, flagged when there are any
Avg ValueAverage revenue per appointment
Add-onsAppointments with an extra, against those without

Each compares itself with the previous week.

The cards underneath

  • Transaction Summary totals every sale for the week, with a line per calendar day
  • Payment Methods splits the week by how customers paid
  • Payment Status separates collected, pending and declined
  • Net New Revenue is the money that did not come from an appointment: retail sales, package purchases and membership charges
  • Package Redemptions lists the credits customers used this week
  • Team Performance breaks the week down by team member
  • Service Mix shows which services filled the week
  • Add-ons sold lists each extra by name, with how many you sold, how many appointments carried it, its attach rate and its revenue

Between them, Add-ons and Add-ons sold answer the upselling question: whether your team is offering extras at all, and which ones customers say yes to.

Insights

Where the week throws up something worth knowing, a short insight appears above the cards. These come from your own data for the week and change as the week does.

Team Recap

At the bottom, Team Recap writes the week up in plain English so you can paste it into your team chat. See Team Recap.

A word on accounting

This is an operating view, not a financial statement. It does not include adjustments made outside Petboost, and it is not a substitute for your accounting system at BAS time.
