Memberships Tab

Updated 21 September 2026 - 3 min read

The Memberships tab is the health check on your recurring revenue: how many members you have, what they are worth each month, who is drifting, and who has stopped paying.

Deep link: https://business.petboost.com/reporting-and-intelligence?tab=memberships

The tab only appears once your business has at least one membership plan. It is on-demand, so it loads nothing until you ask.

Run it

  1. Open Reporting & Intelligence and select the Memberships tab.
  2. Select Load Membership Data.

The headline numbers

StatWhat it tells you
Active MembersDistinct pet owners on an active or past-due membership, and how many plans they are spread across
Monthly Recurring RevenueEvery active membership converted to a monthly figure and added up, with the average per member
Net Change (28d)Joins minus cancellations over the last 28 days, with both numbers underneath
At RiskPast due plus paused, with each number underneath

Monthly Recurring Revenue normalises weekly and fortnightly plans to a month, so a weekly plan is not understated next to a monthly one.

Net Change (28d) is the number to watch. A membership base can look healthy on the headline count while quietly losing more members than it gains.

Filter by status

The chips under the stats filter the member list. Each carries its own count.

  • All
  • Active
  • Past Due, where the last payment failed
  • Paused, where the member has stopped the plan temporarily
  • Pending, where the member has signed up but the plan has not started

Start on Past Due. Those are members who still expect their benefits and whose money has stopped arriving.

The member list

The table lists each membership:

ColumnWhat it shows
MemberThe pet owner, with their plan status
PlanThe plan name and its billing cycle
PriceWhat they pay each cycle
TenureHow long they have been a member
Benefit useA bar and a percentage showing how much of this cycle's allowance they have used
RiskHealthy, Watch or High

Select any column heading to sort by it. The search box matches name, email, phone and plan.

Benefit use is blank where the plan has no capped benefit to measure, which is normal on an open-ended plan.

Reading the Risk badge

High means the membership needs action now: the payment has failed and the benefits are still being drawn on.

Watch means the membership is still paying but the member is barely using it. That is the pattern that ends in a cancellation, and it is the one you can still do something about. A message offering to book them in usually costs less than winning the member back later.

Healthy means neither applies.

Export

Export CSV downloads the filtered list with more detail than the table shows: member name, email, phone, plan, status, price, billing cycle, join date, tenure in days, next billing date, benefit utilisation and risk level.

Use it to build a contact list for the members you want to reach, then send from Messages.
