Card content sets what each appointment card shows, in what order, and whether details show as icons or as labelled badges. Mission Control, the Appointments calendar and Trips share one layout, so a change in one place shows in the others.
The layout is saved in the browser it was set in. Each computer, tablet or phone keeps its own, so set it once on each device the team uses.
Open Card content
On Mission Control:
- Open Mission Control.
- Select Options at the top of the board.
- Under Colour Mode, select Card content.
On the calendar:
- Open Appointments.
- Select the view button (it shows Day, Week, Month or Timeline).
- Under How it looks, select Card content.
Choose what the cards show
- Optional: under Start from, choose a ready-made layout:
- Standard: the layout each card was designed with.
- At a glance: photo, name, service, time and status.
- Front desk: who is here, whether they can pay, and if it is a first visit.
- Care brief: care, tags, notes, birthday and vaccination, with the service.
- Team and table: the service, who is doing it, and where.
- Quiet: no care icons, badges or alerts.
- Under Show on the card, switch each detail on or off. Pet name and Status are always shown.
- Optional: drag a detail up or down to change the order, or select New line to start it on its own row.
- Under Show details as, choose Text or Badges:
- Text shows icons by the pet's name, details as text under it, and only what matters right now, two alerts at a time.
- Badges shows every detail that is on as its own labelled badge, with nothing left out.
- Optional: in Text, select Label beside a detail such as Birthday, Vaccination, Package, Membership, Add-ons or Initial visit to show it as a labelled badge instead of an icon.
Preview shows the card as it looks on the Calendar or on Mission Control while you change it. Select Reset to Default to go back to the standard card.
Show the birthday countdown on the cards
In Text, a pet's birthday shows as an alert on the day and as an icon by the name in the week before. Point at the icon to see how many days away it is. To read the countdown on the card itself, as a pink birthday badge that says in 9 days:
- Open Card content.
- Under Show on the card, check Birthday is switched on.
- Select Label beside Birthday, or choose Badges under Show details as.
The Birthdays tile under Attention Required on Mission Control filters the board to those pets, and the cards then follow this layout. The list of pets under Attention Required always says how many days away each birthday is.
A detail is missing from the cards
When a detail that used to show is gone, it is hidden or shown as an icon in Card content, not removed:
- Switched off: open Card content and switch it back on under Show on the card.
- Shown as an icon: in Text, select Label beside it, or choose Badges.
- Behind "+N": in Text, a card shows two alerts and five icons at a time, and the rest sit behind +N. Drag the detail higher in the list, or choose Badges.
- Different on another device: the layout is saved in each browser. Set it again on that device.
- Not on the calendar: Rounds and Team forms show only on Mission Control.
Select Reset to Default to see the standard card again.
