Bookings and the calendar

Choose what an appointment card shows

Card content sets which details print on every appointment card, and in what order. The calendar and Mission Control share the one layout.

A card that shows everything is a card nobody reads. Start from a layout close to how your team works, then switch off what they never look at.

  1. Open Appointments, open the view button in the toolbar, then select Card content.
  2. Under Start from, choose a layout: Standard, At a glance, Front desk, Care brief, Team and table or Quiet.
  3. Under Show on the card, switch each detail on or off, such as Pet photo, Tags, Grooming notes or Resource.
  4. Optional: drag a detail up or down, or select New line to start it on a line of its own.
  5. Under Show details as, choose Text or Badges.
  6. Optional: in Text, select Label beside a detail such as Add-ons, Package, Membership or Vaccination to show it as a labelled badge under the photo instead of an icon by the name.

Preview shows the card as it reads on the Calendar or in Mission Control, so check both before you close it. Pet name and Status are always shown. Badges gives every detail that is on its own badge, with no limit on how many; Text keeps icons by the name and shows only what matters right now, two alerts at a time, plus the details you gave a Label. A booking with more than one service names every service on the card.

Front desk is who is here, whether they can pay, and whether it is a first visit. Care brief is care, tags, notes, birthday and vaccination with the service. Team and table is the service, who is doing it and where.

Check

The layout is saved in this browser, like the rest of the view options. A front desk computer and a groomer's tablet can each have their own. Reset to Default goes back to the standard card.
