Skip two weeks of a recurring series

A break is a cancelled date range, not a pause. Stop at is what brings the series back.

A break in a recurring series is a cancelled date range rather than a pause, and Stop at is the date that brings the series back.

  1. Open any visit in the series from Appointments.
  2. Select Manage, then Cancel.
  3. Choose Skip these dates.
  4. Set Start from on the first visit they will miss and Stop at on the last.
  5. Read the summary under What will be cancelled, which counts the visits going and names the date the series comes back.
  6. Under Notify customer?, choose Send notification or Cancel silently, then select Skip these dates.

Stop at is marked Optional, and leaving it empty cancels everything from the start date onwards and ends the series, which is the same outcome as End series (all future). Notify customer? is a required choice on the same form and it covers the whole range, so Cancel silently is how a two-week break avoids four separate cancellation messages.
