Two dogs on the same days are two series, so a skip on one dog's series pauses that dog and leaves the other coming unless you tick it too.
- Open one of the paused dog's visits from Appointments.
- Select Manage, then Cancel.
- Choose Skip these dates.
- Set Start from on the first visit the dog will miss and Stop at on the last.
- Answer Notify customer?, then select Skip these dates.
The scope is the series you opened, so the other dog keeps coming. The amber panel below lists their series and leaves it unticked, and Review other series is where you look if you meant to pause both. Tick it there and the summary gains a line for that series, covering the same window. The alternative is to repeat the skip from a visit on the other dog, which is what you want when the two breaks are different lengths.
Trap
Stop at is what makes this a pause. Leave it empty and the skip cancels everything from Start from onwards and ends the series.
