Send a photo in a text

Photo messages put up to ten photos or PDFs in one text from Messages. They are off until an account owner switches them on in Settings, SMS, and the credit each photo uses is shown beside the switch.

A photo of the finished groom, or the dog asleep in its run, goes out from the same conversation as every other text. It needs Communications Booster with your dedicated number active, and Photo messages switched on once.

  1. Open SMS in Settings and switch on Photo messages. The line under it says what each photo or PDF uses.
  2. Open Messages and the client's conversation.
  3. Select the paperclip, Attach photos or PDFs, and choose up to 10 photos or PDFs.
  4. Add a line of text if you want one, then send.

Photos are made smaller to fit before they go, and a PDF has to be under 480 KB. Each photo or PDF draws its own credits from the same pool as your texts, so the composer counts the whole message first and says how many credits it needs when there are not enough left.

Tip

With photo messages off, a photo a client texts you cannot be shown. Opening their conversation shows a notice, A customer sent you a photo, and an account owner can select Turn on photo messages on it. Ask them to send it again once it is on.
