Read and tame the bell

The bell holds what happened for you to see. My notifications sets what lands in it and what reaches your phone, one person at a time.

The bell at the top of Petboost is your own feed: bookings, payments and messages as they happen. My notifications decides what lands in it, and each person sets their own.

  1. Select the bell at the top of the page. Needs attention sits first, then Recent.
  2. Select a row to open what it is about.
  3. Select Mark all as read to clear your own list, or View all notifications for Notifications, where you can filter by type, read state and date.
  4. To change what arrives, select the settings cog at the top of the bell, Notification settings. It opens My notifications.
  5. Under each heading, such as Bookings or Payments, turn each event on or off. An event you changed from your role's default shows Changed.
  6. Select Save Changes.

Needs attention is shared by the whole team. A booking request or a declined payment stays there until someone opens it, deals with it or selects Done for everyone, which clears it from every team member's bell. Mark all as read only touches your own list and leaves those events in place.

Sound plays on the device you switch it on, straight away. Pause on every device stops push notifications to all your devices at once and keeps them in the list, which is the one to reach for on a day off. Resume on every device starts them again.

Check

The bell is what reaches your team. What reaches your customers is set on Settings, Notifications, and nothing on My notifications changes it.
