Move future bookings to your new prices

Raising a price leaves the diary alone. Update Existing Bookings is the screen that brings confirmed bookings up to the current catalogue.

1 min read · Owner · Running day to day

Raising a price moves the catalogue, and every booking already in the diary keeps its confirmed price until you bring it across here.

  1. Open Pricing Assistant and select Update Existing Bookings.
  2. Set Check bookings from to the date the new price should start.
  3. Under What will change, tick any of Large jumps (possible typos), Free lines now charged or Price decreases that should move too.
  4. Optional: tick Notify customers by email & SMS.
  5. Tick the box in Before you apply, then select the Update button, which counts the bookings.

Anything dated before Check bookings from keeps what it was confirmed at, and paid and cancelled bookings are always left out. Price increases are included; decreases, free lines that are now charged, and jumps that look like typos wait for a tick. The number on the button is lower than the list above it because a recurring series counts once and carries to every future occurrence.

Tip

The Pricing Assistant also sits in the gear menu on Services.
