Hide a course until you are ready to sell it

Build the template first and leave it alone. Nothing on a template is visible to a client, and the switch that stops clients booking its courses online sits on the template too.

Open Courses, then Manage on the template's card and Manage Template.
To fill its courses privately, switch off Online booking on Booking Settings.
Select Publish Changes, tick the box in Before You Publish, then select Publish Changes.
When the dates are settled, open Courses again, then Manage on the template's card and Publish New Course.

A course you publish from the template appears on your booking page while Online booking is on, which reads Customers can book this course online. With it off, clients cannot book it online and you enrol them yourself. A course you want nobody to see yet is simply not created.
