Copy a payment link instead of texting it

All three channels make the same link against the same booking. Only SMS spends an SMS credit.

A payment link can reach the client by text, by email, or through any chat you copy it into, and only the text spends an SMS credit.

  1. Open the booking from Appointments.
  2. Under Payment Method, choose Secure Payment Link.
  3. Under Deliver Link By, choose SMS, Email or Copy Link.
  4. Select the button under it, which carries the amount and reads Send by SMS, Email Link or Copy Link.
  5. If you chose SMS, check the preview in Send Payment Link by SMS, then select the Send Payment Link button.
  6. If you chose Copy Link, select Copy Link in Copy Payment Link, then paste it into your own message.

SMS asks Petboost to text the link, which uses one of your SMS credits. Email has Petboost email the client a pay-online message carrying the link, and Copy Link generates the link for you to share however you like, so a client you already talk to on WhatsApp or Messenger costs nothing to chase. All three make the same link against the same booking, and the payment lands the same way whichever you pick. The button underneath changes with the choice, which is the quickest way to check you picked the one you meant.

Tip

If Petboost cannot email the client, the link opens in Email Payment Link instead, where Open Email drafts it from your own email app and Copy Link copies it.
