Bookings and the calendar

Block one day, or a range, from online booking

Blocked time takes two dates, not one. Same day in both fields blocks a day; move the second and it blocks everything between.

Blocked time takes a start date and an end date, so one form closes a single day, or everything between two dates, for a team member or a resource.

  1. Open Appointments, select New, then Blocked Time.
  2. Choose the team member under Select Team Member, or choose Resource/Location and pick one under Select Resource/Location.
  3. Set Start Date, then leave End Date on the same day to block one day, or move it to block everything in between.
  4. If you mean to close, widen Start Time and End Time, which open on a working day rather than the whole of it.
  5. Select Create Blocked Time.

A block is set per team member or resource, which means a whole closed day needs one for each. Bulk Blocked Time, in the same New menu, blocks that range across several of them in one pass.

Tip

For a date the country already knows about, Public Holidays applies the same block from a list instead.
