Change a price without texting the client

Every saved invoice change asks whether to notify. Update silently is the answer when you have already spoken to them.

A price typed over a line on the booking's invoice belongs to that booking alone, and Update silently saves it without a word to the client, which is the answer when you have already spoken to them.

  1. Open the booking from Appointments.
  2. On the Appointment tab, scroll to How Much, the booking's invoice.
  3. Type the new figure over the Price on the line.
  4. Under Notify customer?, choose Update silently.
  5. Select Save Changes.

The save bar appears as soon as a line changes, and Save Changes stays disabled until Notify customer? is answered. On a trial, Update silently is already chosen. Update silently saves the new price and sends nothing. Send notification sends an email and a text, and Preview message shows that text before you commit to it.
